# Connect Codex to MyFeedIn

The Codex CLI and IDE extension share one config, so adding MyFeedIn once covers both.

## 1. Add the server

**Command**

```
codex mcp add myfeedin --url https://mcp.myfeedin.co
```

**config.toml**

`~/.codex/config.toml`
```
[mcp_servers.myfeedin]
url = "https://mcp.myfeedin.co"
```

## 2. Sign in

Your browser opens on myfeedin.co: sign in and approve.

```
codex mcp login myfeedin
```

## Check it worked

```
codex mcp list
```

`myfeedin` should be listed. Inside Codex, `/mcp` shows its tools. Then ask "list my last 5 LinkedIn posts".

## Troubleshooting

**Codex times out on start**

Raise `startup_timeout_sec` under `[mcp_servers.myfeedin]` in `config.toml` (default 10).
