# Connect VS Code to MyFeedIn

Copilot's agent mode in VS Code talks to remote MCP servers. Install MyFeedIn in one click or commit it to your workspace.

## 1. Install in one click

Opens VS Code on the install screen for MyFeedIn.

## 2. Or add it to the workspace

Note that VS Code uses `servers`, not `mcpServers`. For every workspace instead, run MCP: Open User Configuration and add the same entry.

`.vscode/mcp.json`
```
{
  "servers": {
    "myfeedin": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://mcp.myfeedin.co"
    }
  }
}
```

## 3. Start it and sign in

Click Start above the entry in `mcp.json`. VS Code opens your browser on myfeedin.co: sign in and approve.

## Check it worked

Run MCP: List Servers from the command palette: `myfeedin` should be running. In Copilot Chat, switch to Agent mode and ask "list my last 5 LinkedIn posts".

## Troubleshooting

**Where do I see the error?**

MCP: List Servers, select `myfeedin`, then Show Output.
