The 10 best LinkedIn
scheduling tools

Compared on what each one can actually post to LinkedIn, not on its feature page.

LinkedIn's own scheduler might be enough

LinkedIn schedules posts for free, on desktop and in the app, for profiles and Company Pages. Before paying for a tool, check whether one of these limits is actually in your way.

Up to 3 months ahead

From 10 minutes out on a personal profile and 1 hour out on a Company Page. Plenty for most people.

No first comment

The composer has no option for it, so a link you keep out of the post body has to be added by hand when the post goes live.

Company Pages get fewer formats

Pages can't schedule polls, multi-photo posts or reshares. Personal profiles can schedule polls and multiple photos.

A list, not a calendar

Scheduled posts sit in a list inside the composer, so seeing your week at a glance takes a tool.

How we ranked these

Yes, we built MyFeedIn, and we put it 4th. It pairs the calendar with analytics on your posts and on the comments you leave, but it can't post as a Company Page or schedule a poll, and the three tools above it can do at least one of those. Here is what our scheduler does so you can judge. The other 9 are the tools the ranking pages for this search keep citing, and none of the links here are affiliate links. Three questions decided the order:

What can it publish on LinkedIn?

PDF carousels, video, polls, a first comment, posting as a Company Page. Most tools support LinkedIn, fewer support the formats that do well on it. We read each vendor's LinkedIn help article rather than their homepage.

Is LinkedIn the point, or one network of eight?

Multi-network suites are the right call for a brand on Instagram and TikTok too. If LinkedIn is where you grow, a LinkedIn-first tool usually goes further on it.

What does one profile cost?

The entry price for a single LinkedIn profile, read on the pricing page, with the billing period it assumes. Per-seat and per-channel pricing is called out, because it changes the bill fast.

01Buffer logo

Buffer

The easiest place to start, free or paid

Best for Solo creators and small brandsFree, then from $5/channel/mo (billed yearly)

Still the simplest scheduler to set up, and one of the most complete on LinkedIn: text, images, GIFs, PDFs, carousels, video and link previews, on profiles and Company Pages alike. The free plan covers three channels with ten posts queued on each, and paid plans are priced per channel, so one LinkedIn profile stays cheap.

What we like

  • Free plan that genuinely works for one LinkedIn profile
  • PDF carousels, video and Company Pages all supported
  • First comment scheduling once you pay

What we don't

  • Per-channel pricing adds up once you connect several networks
  • The free plan caps your queue at 10 scheduled posts per channel
02AuthoredUp logo

AuthoredUp

For people who write inside LinkedIn

Best for Writers and Page adminsFrom $19.95/mo

AuthoredUp lives in LinkedIn's own composer through its Chrome extension: formatting, drafts, previews, a calendar and analytics where you already write. It covers every Company Page you admin at no extra cost and is the clearest here about polls and events, with one catch worth knowing: scheduling, video and polls run through the extension.

What we like

  • Unlimited Company Pages on every plan, no per-page fee
  • Polls, events, documents and video in the same composer
  • Free trial with no credit card

What we don't

  • Scheduling depends on the Chrome extension
  • The team plan needs at least three profiles
03Taplio logo

Taplio

Scheduling inside a full LinkedIn growth suite

Best for Creators who want AI helpFrom $39/mo

Taplio schedules text, images, documents, video and full carousels to your profile or a Company Page, at the slots your followers are most active. Scheduling is one part of a larger product that also writes posts with AI, finds ideas and tracks analytics, and the price reflects that.

What we like

  • Profile and Company Page on the same calendar
  • Best-time slots and carousel drip scheduling
  • 7-day trial with full Pro access, plus a 30-day money-back guarantee

What we don't

  • The highest entry price among the LinkedIn-first tools here
  • You pay for AI writing even if scheduling is all you need
04MyFeedIn logo

MyFeedIn

A calendar for your posts, and the numbers after

Best for Creators on one personal profile

Write the post, add images or a PDF carousel, and drop it on the calendar. MyFeedIn publishes it and then shows what it did, next to the analytics of the comments you leave on other people's posts. Video and an automatic first comment come with the Growth plan. It posts to personal profiles only.

What we like

  • Calendar, post analytics and comment analytics in one $15 plan
  • Can publish through LinkedIn's official API
  • 7-day free trial with no credit card

What we don't

  • No Company Page posting and no polls
  • Video and first comment need the Growth plan
05ContentIn logo

ContentIn

An AI ghostwriter with a solid scheduler

Best for Founders who don't want to writeFrom $19/mo

ContentIn is built around an AI writer trained on your own posts, with a weekly calendar underneath. The scheduler handles images, videos and carousels, and it publishes a first comment right after the post goes live through LinkedIn's official API. If you only want scheduling and analytics, the Essentials plan skips the AI writer.

What we like

  • Scheduled first comments, posted through LinkedIn's official API
  • An Essentials plan for scheduling and analytics without AI
  • 7-day trial and a 30-day refund on the first payment

What we don't

  • Company Pages only on the top plan
  • No free plan once the trial ends
06Supergrow logo

Supergrow

AI writing and a first comment from the entry plan

Best for Solo creators and executive teamsFrom $19/mo

Supergrow writes posts in your voice, including from recorded AI interviews, and schedules them from a calendar or a Kanban board. The automatic first comment is on the entry plan, and the Teams plan adds approvals across several executives. It says it publishes through LinkedIn's official API. We couldn't find Company Page posting or the supported post formats documented on its site.

What we like

  • Automatic first comment from the $19 plan
  • Approval workflow for teams of executives
  • 7-day free trial

What we don't

  • Profile analytics needs the $39 Pro plan
  • Company Pages and post formats aren't documented
07SocialBee logo

SocialBee

The multi-network tool that takes LinkedIn seriously

Best for Brands on several networksFrom $29/mo

If LinkedIn is one of several networks, SocialBee is the one that still handles it properly: carousels built from PDF, Word or PowerPoint files, video, GIFs and a first comment, on profiles and Company Pages. Teams can approve posts and leave feedback before they go live.

What we like

  • Document carousels from PDF, DOC or PPT on profiles and Pages
  • First comment and approval workflow built in
  • 14-day trial with no credit card, 30-day money-back guarantee

What we don't

  • More than you need if LinkedIn is your only network
  • A first comment means switching the editor to customize each network
08Publer logo

Publer

A free plan and PDF carousels up to 100 slides

Best for Budget-minded social media managersFree, then from $5/mo

Publer covers LinkedIn profiles and Company Pages with multi-photo posts, native video up to 15 minutes, GIFs and PDF carousels of up to 100 slides built from photos or documents. The free plan handles three social accounts with ten posts queued each, and paid plans are priced by the number of accounts you connect.

What we like

  • Free plan across three social accounts
  • PDF carousels built from photos, PDFs, PPT or DOC files
  • Approval workflows once you add team members

What we don't

  • The trial asks for a card or a PayPal account
  • Its help center contradicts itself on LinkedIn polls
09Hootsuite logo

Hootsuite

The enterprise suite, priced per user

Best for Marketing teamsFrom $99/user/mo (billed yearly)

Hootsuite publishes images, video and one PDF per post to LinkedIn profiles and Pages, with a first comment, alongside every other network and a full team workflow. Its own help center is clear about the limits: LinkedIn's API doesn't let it publish polls, native carousels, events or articles.

What we like

  • First comment and approvals across a whole team
  • Built for teams publishing on many networks at once
  • 14-day trial with no credit card

What we don't

  • $99 per user per month, billed yearly, to start
  • No polls, and only one PDF per post
10Sprout Social logo

Sprout Social

Publishing plus reporting for large teams

Best for Agencies and in-house social teamsFrom $79/seat/mo (billed yearly)

Sprout Social posts to LinkedIn Company Pages and profiles with PDF documents, video with custom thumbnails and subtitles, and a first comment, inside a platform built for teams that report on social every week. Polls still have to be created directly in LinkedIn.

What we like

  • 30-day free trial with no credit card, the longest here
  • PDF documents, video subtitles and first comments on LinkedIn
  • Reporting built for weekly client or leadership updates

What we don't

  • $79 per seat per month billed yearly on the entry plan
  • No polls, and approvals start on the Professional plan

Frequently asked questions

The questions people ask before picking a LinkedIn scheduler.

It depends on what you post. Buffer is the easiest start and covers PDF carousels and Company Pages on every plan. AuthoredUp suits people who write inside LinkedIn and admin Pages. Taplio and ContentIn add AI writing. If LinkedIn is one network among several, SocialBee handles it best, and larger teams go to Hootsuite or Sprout Social.

Yes. LinkedIn's own scheduler is free for every account, up to 3 months ahead, on profiles and Company Pages. Our guide on how to schedule a post on LinkedIn walks through it. For a calendar or a first comment, Buffer and Publer both have free plans with a small queue.

Yes, as document posts. Buffer, AuthoredUp, Taplio, SocialBee, Publer, Hootsuite, Sprout Social and MyFeedIn all publish PDF carousels to LinkedIn. Hootsuite allows one PDF per post, and Publer builds a carousel of up to 100 slides from photos or documents.

With LinkedIn's own scheduler, yes on a personal profile and no on a Company Page. Among the tools here, AuthoredUp documents polls through its Chrome extension. Hootsuite and Sprout Social say polls have to be created directly in LinkedIn, and MyFeedIn doesn't schedule them.

Not with LinkedIn's own scheduler. Buffer (paid plans), ContentIn, Supergrow, SocialBee, Hootsuite and Sprout Social publish a first comment with the post, and MyFeedIn does on its Growth plan. It's the usual place for a link you don't want in the post body.

Buffer, AuthoredUp, Taplio, SocialBee, Publer, Hootsuite and Sprout Social, plus ContentIn on its Pro plan. You need to be an admin of the Page. MyFeedIn posts to personal profiles only, and Supergrow doesn't document it.

LinkedIn's own scheduler is free, and Buffer and Publer have free plans. Among paid plans for one profile, MyFeedIn starts at $15 a month, and Buffer at $5 per channel per month billed yearly. Hootsuite and Sprout Social price per user or seat, which is where the bill grows fastest.

Schedule your LinkedIn posts and see what they did

MyFeedIn puts your posts on a calendar, publishes images and PDF carousels, and tracks the impressions and comments of each one once it's live. 7-day free trial, no credit card.
