LinkedIn carousel downloader
Get every slide of an image carousel, or the original PDF of a document post
Download every slide of a LinkedIn carousel, or the original PDF of a document post. Paste the post URL, and the tool detects the type automatically. No sign-up, no installs, full quality preserved.
How to use the LinkedIn carousel downloader
- Find the LinkedIn post with the carousel or document you want to save
- Click the three-dot menu on the post and select "Copy link to post"
- Paste the URL into the input above and click "Get Slides"
- Download what you need: single slides, all slides at once, or the PDF
The whole process takes a few seconds and works on desktop and mobile.
Two kinds of LinkedIn carousels, one tool
LinkedIn has two post types people call "carousels", and they behave differently. The tool handles both.
Image carousels
Posts with several swipeable photos. LinkedIn shows dots or arrows to move between them. The tool extracts every slide in the highest resolution LinkedIn serves (typically 1080px or higher), not just the cover image. Download slides individually or grab them all in order with one click.
Document posts (PDF carousels)
Posts where you flip through pages of an uploaded PDF, with a page counter at the top. These are the classic "carousel" format used for guides, case studies, and slide decks. For these, the tool fetches the original PDF file, the same document the author uploaded, with selectable text and full resolution. Not screenshots, the actual file.
Why download LinkedIn carousels
- Build a swipe file. Carousels are the most design-heavy format on LinkedIn. Saving the best ones (structure, hooks, layouts) is how most good carousel creators learned.
- Read documents properly. A 20-page case study is painful to read in LinkedIn's embedded viewer on a phone. As a PDF, it's readable anywhere, offline, and searchable.
- Archive your own carousels. If you've lost the source file of a document you published, the tool recovers the PDF straight from your live post.
- Reference material for teams. Competitor decks, industry reports, and format examples are easier to annotate and share internally as files than as links that require a LinkedIn session.
As always: downloading for personal reference is fine, republishing someone else's work is not. Ask the creator before reusing their slides.
Supported post types
- Image carousels: fully supported, every slide extracted
- Document posts (PDF): fully supported, original PDF
- Single-image posts: work too, you get the one image
- Video posts: not supported here, use the LinkedIn Video Downloader
- Text-only posts and polls: nothing to extract, use the LinkedIn Post Downloader to save the text
Troubleshooting
"No carousel or document found in this post"
The post is probably text-only, a poll, or a video. Check that the post actually contains swipeable images or a page-by-page document.
"Could not fetch the LinkedIn post"
The post might be private, restricted to connections, or LinkedIn is rate-limiting requests. Only public posts work. Wait a minute and try again with a fresh link.
The PDF won't open or looks wrong
Rare, but some very old document posts use a legacy format. Try downloading the slides as images instead, or take the post URL and paste it again, the fetch occasionally needs a second attempt.
Slides download out of order
Slides are numbered in the order LinkedIn serves them, which matches the carousel order. If your browser bundles downloads, sort the files by name: slide-1, slide-2, and so on.

An image carousel is a post with several swipeable photos. A document post is an uploaded PDF that readers flip through page by page (it shows a page counter). The tool detects the type automatically: image carousels give you every slide as a high-resolution image, document posts give you the original PDF.
Yes. For document posts, the tool fetches the PDF as LinkedIn stores it, with selectable text and original resolution intact. It's the same file the author uploaded, not screenshots of the pages.
Yes. For image carousels, the "Download all" button saves every slide one after the other, numbered in order. You can also download any single slide individually.
No. The tool only works with public LinkedIn posts and never asks for your credentials. Just paste the post URL. We don't store your URLs or the files.
Saving a carousel for personal reference, study, or a private swipe file is generally fine. Republishing someone else's slides or PDF as your own is not. Always ask or credit the original creator if you share their work.
